What a change, from cornfields to Turning Stone.
I remember 30-plus years ago, as a college student, traveling from the University at Albany to visit my friends at State University of New York at Buffalo. The area where Turning Stone Resort & Casino now sits was open fields of corn. My recent trip there was indeed a surprise, a hidden gem in the middle of New York State.
Perhaps it is no mistake that the Oneida Nation’s Turning Stone Resort & Casino is located almost in the middle of the state, as it seems to be the center of it all. Four hotel venues, The Lodge, The Tower, The Inn and The Hotel, have more than 700 rooms, and the resort also offers an RV park, a multitude of restaurants, five golf courses, gaming, live entertainment, concerts, recreation and two incredible spas.
