Last week, I was looking through my rapidly growing collection of vintage recipe pamphlets and this one, “A Book of 150 Recipes prepared with Campfire® the Original Food Marshmallows” fell from the pile.
How timely, I thought, since it is the time of year that marshmallows take center stage while we sit around the campfire. It brought back fond memories, too, the sleep-outs in the woods when I was in camp, making sure I had enough marshmallows to toast over those roaring flames. I always preferred mine charred.
