Fall’s arrival ushered in spectacular weather, cool nights and vibrant colors on the trees. For many, it is the time when those vintage pie pans are dusted off.

With the anticipation of the holidays around the corner, the indulgence in America’s favorite dessert begins.

I am already thinking of how a pie in the oven will warm up those cold and bleak days ahead.

Apple picking is a popular autumn family activity, and what better way to embrace the season than to gather in the kitchen to prepare some dishes with the “crop” you have just picked?
