Found: Sue Gomez of Clinton wrote: “I’d love to have Tiberio’s Restaurant’s (1395 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, 860-388-2459, www.tiberiosfinecuisine.webs.com) Tomato-Olive Tapenade recipe. I’ve tried duplicating it, but without success. The other dish I would like the recipe for is the sauce for the delicious mussels we had on Valentine’s Day. It was a very light cream sauce with saffron and some liqueur. It was fabulous.”
Sue, Cornelio Calle, the executive chef and owner, was delighted to share both of your recipe requests. The tapenade is served to all guests along with hot bread. He gave me a container to take home, and it was a hit with my family. I also used it as a salad dressing.
