Taste of the Chamber at the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Business Expo showcased more than a dozen area restaurants late last fall. Its beautifully presented Coriander-Crusted Stonington Scallops and Roasted Pear Winter Salad With Pomegranate Dressing was the winner.
Overlooking the Connecticut River, Fresh Salt has a AAA Four Diamond rating, a raw bar and a seasonally varied menu. Chef Leslie Tripp and his staff cook with ingredients from local farms and cheese makers.
