Local cooks share recipes for Crustless Pumpkin Pie and Nobby Apple Cake

If food is meant to be shared, then so should the recipe. Don’t you think it is a great compliment to be asked for a recipe you prepared that friends and family enjoyed? I enjoy hearing about how they came upon that recipe, especially if it has been handed down from generation to generation.

Those handwritten recipes on index cards, passed through a family are especially precious, knowing that a loved one, perhaps long gone, wrote it. Whether they are an old clipping from a newspaper, from an online food blog or an original handwritten or typed recipe, they are all recipes worth sharing.
